On the afternoon of August 29, the graduation ceremony of the Certificate IV in Training and Education (TAE) of SDAEU was held in Room 201, No.2 Teaching Building. Vice President Zhang Zhaoming attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Tang Xin, director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office, hosted the ceremony, Lisa Bale and other 20 teachers attending training of our university also took part in the ceremony.
President Zhang Zhaoming, on behalf of our school, first of all expressed our sincere gratitude to Lisa Bale, an Australian teacher. Ms. Lisa has dedicated her efforts throughout the training course and winning the praise of all the teachers. President Zhang pointed out that conducting inter-school international exchanges and cooperation is in keeping with the general trend of opening up of the country's economy and society and has become an important development strategy for the "13th Five-Year Plan" for all colleges and universities. He encouraged the present teachers to apply their wisdom and make good use of this training opportunity, make full use of the learned knowledge in future teaching and make due contributions to the reform and development of education and teaching in SDAEU.
In the graduation speech, Lisa Bale has highly praised the teachers who participated in the training and quoted Confucius and Mencius's famous remarks and encouraged everyone to be best of benevolence and sincere, be full of hope for the future. The two teachers delivered speeches on behalf of the participating teachers and indicated that they should combine their practical experience in the teaching in the future, exert their knowledge and improve the teaching level, and make great efforts to contribute to the development of the college.
Finally, President Zhang exchanged gifts with Lisa Bale, and Yu Kexue, the deputy secretary of the Department of Food Science and Engineering, on behalf of twenty teachers, presented a gift to Ms. Lisa.
The training class of the Australia Certificate IV in Training and Education (TAE) was officially opened in September 1, 2015 in SDAEU, and taught by the North Coast Australian TAFE faculty teachers. After two phases of face-to-face teaching and 10-month online learning, all 20 teachers who attended the training have successfully passed the examination and would be awarded the qualification certificates issued by the Australian by the end of September.
