On the afternoon of March 27, the awarding ceremony of TAE (Training and Education) Certificate IV of Australian Vocational Education Teachers was held in the conference room on the fourth floor of the Office Building in Jinan Campus. Ms. Lisa Bale, Ms. Debbie Kennington from TAFE College of the North Coast of Australia, and Zhang Zhaoming, Vice President of our University, attended the awarding ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Zhen Junlan, Director of the School of International Exchange and Cooperation. The 20 teachers of SDAEU participating in the training have won the qualification certificates and attended the ceremony.
In his speech, President Zhang Zhaoming expressed his gratitude and warm welcome to Ms. Lisa Bale and Ms. Debbie Kennington for attending the ceremony and congratulated the 20 successful teachers. He pointed out that the just-concluded third congress of our university is about to usher in a crucial period of the comprehensive reform of our university and the implementation of the 13th Five-Year Plan. The Sino-foreign cooperative education program is an important part of the undergraduate assessment to be held in 2019, hoping the teachers who have obtained the certificate could actively introduce advanced teaching concepts, innovate teaching modes and methods, and make greater contribution to Sino-foreign cooperative education projects of our university. Vice President Zhang Zhaoming reaffirmed about Ms. Lisa Bale's hard work during the training period. Her innovative teaching methods, rigorous teaching attitude and good professional accomplishments have greatly benefited our teachers.
Ms. Lisa Bale said she is proud of the faculty who have successfully received the certificate. The certificate training content, teaching methods and assessment standards in full accordance with the requirements of Australia, she hoped all teachers can put into practice in the future work, and constantly improve the teaching level. Ms. Lisa Bale once again thanked the teachers for their trust and care in the training process, which made her feel at home in China. Ms. Lisa Bale believes that teachers will perform better in their positions.
