Recently, the Shandong Division of the 15th National College Students Smart Car Competition successfully concluded in the multifunctional hall of our Jinan campus. With the strong support of school leaders and various departments, the Smart Maker Research Institute of the Science and Technology Society of the School of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering organized internal training and selection, and formed a team of 13 students to participate in the competition. After arduous summer preparations, it achievedexcellent results.
According to the needs ofpandemic prevention and control, this competition will be conducted by the on-site evaluation method of the technical expert group stationed in the school. An expert group composed of Professor Wu Hao from Shandong University, Professor Sun Baojiang from Qilu University of Technology, and Professor Liu Jianhua from Linyi University came to our school to guide the evaluation. Four teams from our school participated in the competition and won a total ofone national second prize,one provincial first prize, andthree provincial second prizes. Among them, the "Shen Bing Xiao Jiang" was designed and produced by Li Chunlei, Pan Cunyi and other students under the guidance of Li Yueyang. The "Little General" team won the third place in Shandong Province in the two-car relay group, one provincial first prize, and one national second prize.
The National Smart Car Competition for College Students is guided by “based on training, focusing on participation, encouraging exploration, and pursuing excellence”, with the rapid development of automotive electronics as the background, and smart cars as the platform, covering control, pattern recognition, sensors, electrical, Multiple disciplines such as electronics, computer and machinery. The total number of students participating in the smart car competition exceeded 330,000, making it a category A subject competition generally recognized by management departments at all levels.
The competition is aimed at the complex engineering problems of smart model cars, comprehensively using multi-disciplinary knowledge to propose, analyze, design, develop and study the mechanical structure, electronic circuits, motion control and development and debugging tools of smart cars, which inspires students to engage in engineering The interest and potential of technological development and scientific research exploration have exercised students' professional skills and team spirit.
