To commemorate “the December 9th Movement”, to cultivate the spirit of patriotism, and to strengthen the sense of responsibility and mission of college students, on the afternoon of December 5th, the10th “Winter Fire” 10,000-meter relay race was grandly opened at the north and south campus.

At 2 o’clock in the afternoon, the contestants swore before the game on the busy sports ground, which fully showed the good spirit and hard work of our students. As the referee's whistle sounded, the participating team members from various departments rushed out of the starting line. The relay baton is passed again and again in the hands of the athletes. Sweating in the fields, they carry a strong sense of group honor. They are brave enough to challenge, dare to fight for the first, and warmed the winter. The competition came to an end with the cheers of success. Business School, Economics and Management School, and Humanities School of Jinan Campus won the first, second, and third places respectively; the Food Science and Engineering School, Mechanical and Electronic Engineering School, and of Land Resources and Surveying Engineering School of North Campus respectively won the first, second and third place.

The Commemorative “December 9th Movement” and the10th “Winter Fire” 10,000-meter relay race conveyed the patriotic spirit of the “December 9th Movement”, demonstrated the vibrant spirit of the students of our school, and inspired students to rejuvenate China and serve the motherland, and further inspired the majority of young students to study hard, make progress, and forge ahead along the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
