To welcome the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and enrich the cultural life on campus, SDAEU held a night run on June 17 under the theme of “Retracing the 100-year roads of the CPC, leading theway tonew journey”.
The event was organized by the school students association Youth Health Companion Society. The evening run lasted for 2 kilometers. The route set up a story line around an important node in the 100-year history of the development of the CPC. Six punch-in points were set up throughout the course, the themes are Red Boat Spirit, Jinggang Mountain Spirit, Long March Spirit, Yan’an spirit, anti-poverty spirit and anti-COVID 19 pandemic spirit. Each punch-in point has “I tell theParty history ”, “I know theParty history ”, “Party history I clock in”and other thematic education activities. At each check-in point, scan the code to answer the question. After the check-in is completed, the words "Learning and Thinking from Party History" are displayed on the learning card, which expresses the firm belief of young students to listen to and follow theParty.
Before the start of the event, students ignited the atmosphere of the event and cheered the contestants in the form of "telling party history" allegro, street dance solo, and light stick dance. Withthe order, more than 500 players began running with the glow stick, which seemed like fluorescent elves and merged into a dazzling galaxy, lighting up the entire campus. After the night run, the students held up the light sticksandthe national flag on the playground, and put them in thefigures "100", "1921", "2021", etc., pushing the atmosphere of the scene to a climax. Teachers and students also joined the crowd to send best wishes for the centenary of theParty.
Zhang Xinyue, a 20th-gradeEconomic ManagementSchool student and Championthis night running event, said: “The form of the whole night run is very novel. It not only allows us to exercise, but also allows us to learn more knowledge ofParty history, which demonstrates the youthful demeanor and creativity of young students, which we all like very much.”
The purpose of this activity is to carry out in-depthParty history learning and education among young students, innovate the carrier ofParty history learning and education in the form of cultural activities, strengthen students' physical fitness, and promote the main theme of "learningParty history, strengthening beliefs, and following theParty", and let young students moved up to make the study and education ofParty history warm up and alive, stimulate students' patriotic enthusiasm and guide them to welcome the 100th anniversary of the founding of theParty with a vigorous and youthful attitude.
