Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the “Announcement on the List of the Second Batch of 1+X Certificate System Pilot Colleges and Universities”, and our school was successfully approved as a “Sensor Network Application Development (Advanced)” 1+X vocational skills certification pilot university.

The implementation of the “1+X Certificate System” is one of the core contents and key projects of the National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan,which is also an important measure to implement the fundamental task of building people in morality, improve the vocational education and training system, and deepen the cooperation between schools and enterprises. In the“1+X Certificate System”,“1” isthe academic certificate, and“X” is a number of vocational skill grading certificates. The pilot of this system can further play the role of academic certificate, consolidate the foundation for sustainable development of students, and encourage students to actively obtain multiple types of vocational skill grading certificates while obtaining academic certificate. Our school actively conforms to the national vocational skills training development strategy, deepens education and teaching reforms, relies on the Internet of things Engineering major, implements professional and industrial docking talent training ideas, and actively explores the path of vocational skills standards and applied undergraduate teaching. The school will take the opportunity of the approved pilot university to benchmark the“1+X Certificate System”, further deepen the education and teaching reform, optimize the professional talent training program, promote the professional “Documentary Evidence Circulate”, and strengthen the degree of talent training in line with industry needs, vigorously train composite technical talents, improve students’ ability to adapt to the hard position of the job, and effectively promote the improvement of the quality of talent training of our school.

It is reported that the second batch of “1+X certificate system” pilot colleges and universities in the “Sensor Network Application Development (Advanced)” vocational grading certificate has selected 31 institutions in Shandong, including four universities and 27 higher vocational colleges, such as Shandong Agriculture and Engineering University, Shandong Normal University, ShandongJ iaotong University and Binzhou University.
