On May 11-12, 2019, the third National Undergraduate Contest on Real Estate Appraisal, co-sponsored by the Land Resources Management Sub-Committee of the Ministry of Education's Public Administration Teaching Steering Committee and the Deans (Heads)Joint Committee of the Land Resource Management, was held at China University of Mining and Technology (Xuzhou). This competition consists of 3 special prizes, 5 first prizes, 9 second prizes, and 20 third prizes. Jia Qi, Yang Lu, Xu Weihao, and Liu Haotian, the2016th students of Land Resource Management of our school, whose work “Appraisal of the purchase price of state-owned agricultural land use right in Huanghe Bay, Maji Town, Qihe County, Dezhou City” won the second prize in the competition.
The Real Estate Appraisal Skills Contest is the first national professional skills competition for undergraduates majoring in Land Resource Management, which is also a national competition recognized by the Ministry of Education. It has been held for three times, which is divided into the preliminary competition and the final. This year, 87 works from 47 universities across the country participated in the preliminary competition. Through strict evaluation by experts, a total of 37 works were judged to enter the national finals, involving 35 universities. In the finals, the contestants of our school were not afraid of strong players, calmly responded to thetask, the focus of the work report was outstanding, and the explanation was smooth and accurate; the answering section was calm and clear, and fully demonstrated the solid professional skills and comprehensive quality of our school's real estate appraisal, andwon thepraise and affirmation fromother teachers and students ofcolleges and universities, in the end of won the second prize asthe total score of the top 15.
As a core curriculum, Real Estate Appraisal of Land Resource Management major, always keeps pace with industry development needs, constantly innovates teaching methods and updates teaching content, and especially pays attention to the cultivation and exercise of students' valuation practice ability. Through this competition, we fully demonstrated the innovation and innovation ability of our students, improved the popularity of our school's Land Resource Management specialty, and played a positive role in promoting the teaching level and professional construction of themajor in the future.
